Emily Brontes victorian Christmas ?

Some useful information  and a little shameless advertising for Haworth christmas events this year.

Haworth has its Scroggling the Holly weekend this coming Sat and Sunday (dec 2 and 3) so we have been out and about with Victoria in her Emily Bronte ensemble getting photos for the event and also for my Bronte day at west lane  on Dec 8th from 1.30 pm onwards .Miss Bronte (AKA Victoria) also posed for the local press.

and at her home ,,to remind everyone to come and visit The Bronte Parsonage Museum over christmas .The Parsonage is open every day and has a special children’s workshop on Dec 8th so the Torch light procession weekend is a great time to bring your kids to Haworth

Miss Bronte   is very likely to be out and about in Haworth over the weekend  perhaps shopping

,,perhaps even serving customers in Firths of Haworth ,

Many thanks to

Victoria our lovely Emily for all her hard work,(Victoria is our Emily for the Bronte eveing at west lane but also works at both the Souke and Firths )

The Bronte Parsonage Museum for allowing us to take photos in their Garden and on the steps

Also to The Souke Haworth for loan of the mannequin ,The souke is where most of my genuine Victorian items are purchased and is an Aladins cave od delights for vintage fans of any era

Firths of Haworth which allowed us to use their facilities and from where I acquired my outfit for the press photo shoot.

And for anyone wishing to speak to Emily in person or see the gowns shown please come to meet the Brontes on Sat dec 8th

an evening of Bronte talks ,displays and music
